Has breathed new life into a 20 year old kit I had thought about replacing. Thank you!

Eternally grateful for 'Love Drums', having bought the screen for a great price and received it a couple of days later (Thank you Royal Mail,it's now breathed new life into my favourite drum module the TD-20.

I have a TD-12 from 2006 is perfect condition, works like a charm, but the screen had stopped working and was preventing me from interacting with the sound module.

This screen replacement brought the TD-12 back to life. The replacement process went well, almost without issues.I did have to work around one hardware incompatibility, but fortunately with success. Let me see if I can explain:
The input cable strip of the replacement display is closer to the side edge than the original Roland display, which resulted in it not clearing well the sheet metal retainer of the TD-12. I had to cut off a corner of the retainer with some pliers to make it comeout without excessive cable bending.

Other than that, it's working as expected.

Hola me llamo Jesus Lopez y soy de Valencia - España, quería decir a toda esa gente que tenga problemas con estas pantallas que se pueden arreglan gracias a esta empresa que me costo encontrar, yo ya tenia la esperanza perdida ya que llame a Roland España y a varios servicios técnicos y no me dieron solución ninguna, ademas de no tratarme bien. Atreves de un contacto hice un pedido a Love Drums sin conocerlos y sin poder hablar con ellos ya que yo no me aclaraba, deposite todo mi confianza en esta empresa pero con pocas esperanzas, cual fue mi sorpresa que el pedido empezó a marchar y yo a ver su seguimiento, mi esperanza comenzaba a fluir, al los pocos dias me escribieron preocupándose por el pedido para que todo marchase bien todo iva correcto, ellos siempre estuvieron ayudando por que tube un poco de lio en aduanas, pero siempre ellos preocupándose que les doy mi enhorabuena, y en unos dias llegó, ahi les dejo unas imagenes de como estaba y como a quedado, mejor que cuando la compre, de mi parte muchísimas gracias sin vosotros el modulo ya no me valia para nada, mil Gracias. Thanks to Love Drums for providing a way to use my older drum set, when Roland has set us adrift with no recourse. Awesome outfit.

The display was an almost perfect match for the old broken original. Installation was quite easy. One part of the metal mount for the screen needed to be cut out to allow for the position of the ribbon cable on the new screen.

Green Screen of Doom - solved. My TD-20 was suffering from the dreaded glitching LCD screen and Love Drums replacement did exactly what it said on the tin. I was nervous about DIYing the install, but went slow, followed along a suggested video on youtube, took care with the delicate ribbon cable connectors and did it in under an hour. The replacement screen fit slotted straight in and fitted perfectly without any additional tweaking or adjustments. Screwed it all back together, switched on and bathed in the glow.

I'm from South Africa and parts for my husbands electronic Roland kit model has been discontinued, so I had no choice but to look abroad. He came across Love Drums and we ordered the part we required. We were kept well informed about the journey of our purchase and were amazed to receive it in record time!
